The NBER has been my principal employer since Fall 1998. Since NBER has a low-graphics site, most of my work there has been behind the scenes. As primary programmer, I write the modules that handle searches, presentation, and sales for 10,000 papers in economics, configure and maintain a cluster of Apache servers running on RedHat Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris machines, and generally perform Sysadmin responsibilities.
